December Cards

Want to see more pictures of the scrap room? Here they are!!!

Have you seen or heard of the BIG SHOT? If not, get one! It's amazing. It's this great Die Cutter from Sizzix. It works with ANY die cutter!!!! I have the cricut, and love it, but these are even better in some ways. Want a GREAT deal on one? Check out overstock.com On the picture below, you will see the magnet strip with clear containers. These are amazing. I got a great deal on them...$10 for everything! Where? The container store...where else? :)
STICKLES!!!! Love them. Don't know how I would scrap without em'!
I got this wooden organizer at Michaels, 40% off of course!
This is my new stamp wall! Everything is labeled.

Here are some new cards! :) So excited to share them with you.

Christmas

So, we went up to St. Louis for Christmas and had a BLAST! Let me just tell you now, I lost my camera about three days after we got there! (Sad face) We went to the Baileys chocolate bar, one of my favorite sub shops: Blues City Deli-Delicious, the Anheuser Busch plant for beer school, build a bear, the science center, and many more! Here are a few pictures...Some of them are of Dixie with her Monkey Sweater we got for her out in Webster Groves. We ended up taking it back because she did not like it at all (you can definitely tell in the pictures).

New Scrapbook Center!

This is my brand new scrapbook center. We have it in the office. I absolutely love it. With the exception of the embellishment center, we were able to get everything from Home Depot. We didn't have to paint a thing because I wanted everything white. The embellishment center was purchased from Michaels for 40% off. It ended up being only $47 dollars. Great deal! All of the shelving was made by rubbermaid. On the bottom, you will see the shelving at the ends. Those are 9 cube containers, made from the Martha Stewart line. Those were on sale as well, around $45 dollars a piece. Kyle put all of this together for me, which was awesome! The best part is the topper on the desk. This was one large piece of white MDF purchased from Home Depot. The piece was a lot bigger than this and the whole thing was only $32 dollars. The desk wasn't the expensive part. It was all the shelving. The shelves themselves weren't too bad, but it was the brackets holding everything up. I made some really cute cards. I will post some pictures later! See ya!~ Oh, and Happy New Year!! Be Safe!

My Hair!

So, I got a wild hair and decided to use my highlight kit that has been sitting in my cabinet for about a month. Pictures will come soon. Hopefully I don't look like a zebra! So excited, just marked my cousin's wedding on the calendar. It's sad I like to mark these things a year out. Work is so crazy, and we are already planning for spring, so might as well think about fall as well.

Where should we go for summer vacation next year? I'm thinking a week long cruise!!!

my beating heart

Wow! Today was a great day. My review was wonderful. The word that came to mind was "healthy." It was great reviewing the past year, and figuring out all the accomplishments.

-Tomorrow: 10am-Cardiologist Check-up-It's heard to believe it's been a year since I had my heart surgery. I'm excited to say that I have been feeling great, but I can't help but feel completely nervous and overwhelmed. You never know. For some reason, I always cry after those appointments.

Hoping to meet Kiah for lunch tomorrow in Gainesville. After that, I will be heading to Manatee Springs for the camp training.
The nice thing is Sunday, I get to spend with Kyle, and Monday we are closed.

This verse describes the exact encouragement I need for tomorrow morning...

Deuteronomy 31: 6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Trick or Treating

So, I am pretty excited about Halloween this year. Not so much about dressing up, but all the little kids in the neighborhood! I can't wait to have trick or treaters. I can't decide what type of candies I want to pass out. So, tonight, I worked on doing some extra yard work around the entry so it looks really nice for the little kids. What's the best candy that kids want for trick or treating? Should we dress up?

SN:Tomorrow is a big day. It's review day.
